How do you pay for firearms you purchased online?  I like the safety and convenience of using a credit card but must places charge an extra 3% for doing so and only take a money order or certified check without additional fees.  If you do send a money order or certified check in the mail do you send it by certified mail or signature required?

I usually pay with a MO or a CC if there are no fees. If you use a MO send it certified with a sig. required. I havent had it happen yet but i assume if the MO is lost its hell trying to get a refund.

certified (SP?) check.  My bank charges less for a cert. check then a MO.

Or get a credit card that offer 1.5 back and just suck up the other 1.5...  (they usually charges a 3% fee for C.C.

Credit cards are awesome for dispute claims.  Just a thought.
