Can I chamber and fire a .410 shell from my .45-70?

Have nooooo plan to do this, just want to know the applicability in case I run out of ammo from shooting zombie buffalo herds.

I would be EXTREMELY hesitant to try something that is not very main stream when it comes to different ammunition that what a gun was designed to handle (ie lots and lots of other people have done it with now problems).  Even then, if you have a problem, it is totally your responsibility.

Bad juju.

Banging strippers is bad juju too, but I know I can bang'em. The switching of shells is foreign to me.

I know a .410 can be interchanged with a .45 colt and just pondered the possibility.
