Looks good man, I have a 40 CX4 in PX4 config and its amazing. Seriously my favorite gun, it actually got me to but the PX4 to go with it. REALLY accurate and dead nuts reliable, I have well over 3K rounds thru mine without if issue. My 9mm AR from RRA was a differnt story, it would FTE about every 5-9 rounds. On the AR board I found that tweaking the ejector and replacing the extractor pin with a rolled tension pin from Lowes for $0.40 would fix it, and the last time out I sent 300 rounds with 2 FTEs. Now its fun. I am sure you will enjoy it. |

You done good, the CX4 is a great little gun for out to a 100-125 yards in defense loaded with good HP ammo and is a very nice, cheap, fun range shooting carbine. I'm very happy to have one again after selling off my first one and have always found it a great tight space carbine for home defense. It's got much better ergo than an AR for me and is more compact in length due to where the action in placed in the frame. My last AR, a POF 16 inch was longer by 3 inches if I remember right (I sold it) when the stock was set for my LOP. I got to say though I just don't understand why some guys stick kitchen sink size scopes on them. You don't need a powered scope on the CX4 for it's useful range unless your near blind and can't see the target at 50 to a 100 yards and to me it just adds negative weight and messes with balance for a pistol caliber carbine intended to be super light and fast for close range. It's like someone jacking up and putting oversized truck tires on a sports car. It doesn't make any sense to me, but to each his own I guess. Eventually I'll be putting something like an Aimpoint MicroDot on mine, but that's it and I can hit whatever I want with the irons as is. The MicroDot would just be for better night sights. Either way enjoy your CX4. |
