Have there been any accuracy tests done with the MASADA or ACR?

Wow. Nothing?  I thought there were articles written about it?  Didn't the whispering SEAL cover it?

I haven't seen any article yet that discussed the MOA of the ACR.

Regardless to have a true statement of the ACR's accuracy you'd need a large enough sample size of rifles (say 10).  To this point I don't believe anyone outside of Magpul or Bushmaster has tested that many ACR's.

Either one or 10 could probaly represent the population of ACRs in existence now.  Hopefully 10 samples will not be large enough represent the total run.

In any case I'd like to hear about accuracy to date.

Response from DrDrake in the Magpul Ind forum

"Not too much I can say on this right now as all accuracy testing has not been scientific. I can say that I have been shooting sub MOA groups for the last year out of a Noveske 18". Groups have been very impressive overall. After barrel changes, we're seeing less than 1 MOA shift. The ACR will use AR barrels so in theory it should be AR accurate.

And no, I don't have video, documents, hand written notes or targets. So please take it for what it's worth. For some reason some people think my word is no good unless the aforementioned documentation is provided."

Sub-MOA?  Hmmm, that's a bold claim.

I do buy the less than 1 MOA shift with barrel change.  Seems in keeping with other quick change barrels out there.

Mine is very accurate......just a bit better than my AR's.  It is lighter and better balanced, so IMHO it is easier to shoot!
I hope to be posting this for real in a couple months!

I don't really see why. It generally uses an 7 lug bolt similar to an AR and he stated using a nice match barrel. My Oly 20" HBAR does just over 1/2MOA 10 shot groups if I use good ammo.

MOA is not a measure of accuracy, in as much as 'a rifle has good MOA'.   It's a unit of measurement, like an inch.

Still though you're talking about a DI firearm vs. a gas piston firearm.

It's not just the barrel of the rifle folks there is a lot more that goes into it.
