Help with 5.45 weight question > General Firearm Discussion

Ok, I was shipping 2160 rounds of 5.45 through Fedex, after they completely screwed it up, I went with UPS, but I know for a fact they're lying to me about the weight. I know it's heavy (as it comes with a woodencrate) but is there anywhere to find the exact weight so I can bring it in and complain?

It's Bulgarian surplus. Any help would be appreciated.

Should be under 60 lbs in crate?One tin (1080) is definately 28 lbs.It's been a little while since I've bought whole cases and have since thrown out the invoices.

Yeah when I bought my 5.45 crate it was listed as 60lbs

they also have a max weight for dimensional size of the box. you may have exceeded that and had to pay the next higher rate/ poundage. i got screwed this way in the past.

Just ordered another 2cases (2160rnds) of bulgy surplus 5.45x39, shipping weight was 66lbs.
