Howdy everybody. I must be a moron, because I'm having trouble taking down my model 77 .22. I removed the two screws that I can see, but there aren't any pins or levers for taking it down.  What am I missing?
The stock is ruined and is going to be replaced.

I am pretty sure the action is just slid into the stock.  The action assembly is press fit together so there's no taking that apart, but you should be able to just slide the whole assembly out of the stock.

I'll do some more research and check back.
