I recently picked up a 10" bull barrel. In a separate deal I bought a wood forearm advertised as fitting the 10" barrel. It doesn't. As you can see from the picture the mounting screw hole is placed differently and the barrel channel is stepped for the last 3/4".

What model does the shorter forearm actually fit?

Looks like it's for the earlier 10" octagonal barrel.

The octagon barrels are tapered.  This forearm is a perfect fit on the straight diameter of the 10" round bull barrel (except for the hole spacing)

I think my TC has an adapter bar for the shorter stocks...
