| The XCR has been out for a while and now I see that conversion kits available ( for pre-order) in 6.8 & 7.62x39. Can an XCR rifle be purchased in these calibers or must you purchase the 5.56 one and then but the conversion kit? |

You can buy the 7.62x39 rifle whole, but it will cost approx. $200 more than the 5.56 model. Also, the 7.62x39 rifle and conversions won't be available until end of Jan. or beginning of Feb. according to the Robarms folks. Your best bet is to buy the 5.56 model now and then the 7.62x39 conversion when they become available in late Jan. or early Feb. The rationale for the extra $200 for the non-5.56 models is extra R&D and less demand. So there is a bit of a premium for the non-5.56 whole rifles. If you buy the 5.56 model and then the 7.62x39 conversion you will probably only pay an extra $199 over just the 7.62x39 whole rifle and basically have two rifles which you can switch between. |
Well, Duh. Sorry, guys. It's right on Robarm's website.![]() And....WAaaaaaHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOO!!!!!! A base price of $1500 with no sights and no stock. ![]() And if I want the fixed tube stock and sights I'm looking at almost $1850. Of Course, if I want a folding stock it'll bring it up to about $1920, and that's without shipping and transfer fee (and no hi-cap mags). I'm sure it's great, but WOW!!!!!! You pay for it. I knew it was $ for these but not $2K!! Sheesh. Unless an internet wholesaler is selling these $500-600 cheaper I can't afford it. I might just look at the .223 model. I've seen those for under $1500.

| Give Aussie Arms a look over on the XCR forum. He sells the XCR's and I would hope can do you a good deal. I have a pending order with him right now and it involves a lot of parts from a lot of places as I wanted to one shop top. So far the experience has been very pleasant. I am hoping to get my goods maybe as early as the end of the week. |
