unfortunately, if someone wants something bad enough, nothing is going to stop them. I've found the best bet for storing stuff in a car is camoflage of some sort. medical/first aid boxes work well. I've also built some speaker boxes somewhat permanently mounted with secret panels in them. another thing that may work well on that car is to ditch the spare tire and build something under the trunk liner where the spare tire would go. most theives wouldnt think to check out the spare, unless you are sporting some blingy rims on the car already. after 12 years in car audio, there is nothing you can do to prevent some low life from stealing your stuff, if they want it, they'll take it. thats why I have a factory radio and nothing that really draws attention to my truck. |
