I just got my M1A set up with a reciever mount, and I didn't know what to stick on it, so I pulled out my 870 and jacked the EOtech off it. The M1A looks BADASS with the EOtech, and with the 1 MOA dot, it has always felt like a waste on the 870. Downside is, my 870 has a high comb stock, and it need some kind of optics if I am going to hit anything with it. Should I keep the EOtech on my 870, and get some kind of magnified optics for my M1A, or should I keep the EOtech on the M1A, and get a new RDS for the 870? I'm torn!!! Also, any specific optics recommendations would be awesome. The M1A has an 18in barrel, and the 870 has a 20in barrel. It's my HD gun. My eyes aren't the best, so I don't want to go back to the bead for my 870. Plus red dots are awesome in low light. I know, I know. Pic.
