I wondered if anybody out there had the Bushmaster 5 round magazines and whether or not they were worth spending money on.

I have one for hunting big game with my AR. They work fine but are spendy.

They work great, but unless you have a real reason for them (hunting, range rules, etc) they're pretty pricey with little advantage over just popping 5 round in a 20 or 30 rounder.

I bought one of those John Masen 5 round mags from Midway. I use it as a hunting and range mag. It has been 100% reliable.
