| I'm buying a 300wsm. I used to own a browning a-bolt and loved it. However I have heard a lot of good things about Savage Amrs with there acu-triggers and accuracy over all. And there prices are almost half of that of the brownings. Which would you choose or is there another brand that you prefer. Money isn't really a factor. I want the goods, lol. Thanks |

If you have any intentions of building a semi-custom, I would buy a Reminton 700 SPS and send it to Hill Country and let them accurize it. They do world class work. I have three and all shoot under .300. The 700 has far more aftermarket parts available and is probably the best factory made (mass Produced) rifle for the money. The Savage would be my second choice, but would have to buy a glass stock and throw away the plastic tupperware stock. |
