I must have missed this if it was discussed before... Crye MR-C This is actually very much like what I imagined a Glock Carbine to look like if they ever got their heads out of their asses and made one. Pretty slick looking. I wonder if it'll actually see production. |
| Cye Associates is a real company so I'm guessing it's not just from the Ghost Recon game... but who knows... that may be as far as it ever goes... kind of like the HK G11 |
I'd like to see an entirely new optic for it... and a VFG made to go flow with the design making it a little more seemless when attached. I hate seeing a really streamlined gun with accessories that just throw it all out of whack...
I believe it's a different division of a larger company. Kind of like Northrop Grumman but on a slightly smaller scale. I don't know how much of an established niche they have in .mil contracting, but it seems like they certainly are working toward getting one in the Future Land Warrior catagory, which is where most of their products are geared towards. |

I think if it had a feed system similar to the HK g11(rotating chamber if I remember right), it could be a winner. Maybe even better if it had the Metal Storm ignition system(electric rather that a mechanical firing pin), of course it would need a solar power backup to the battery system just to super high tech thorough. |

If the Ghost Recon game is any indicator of its use (and I say it is) the gun loads from the bottom via a "box" magazine similar to that of a P90. The game says it uses a 5mm cartridge and I would assume that is correct as well. I have this trust because the game accurate models the SCAR-L and -H in terms of looks and function. And I mean down to a "T". |
