I maybe posting this in the wrong place and correct me if I am. I have a SBR I built before I moved to where I am now. My question is, Do I have to correct my paper work to the county in which I live know or do I not? I still live in the same state but just 50 miles south of where I use to live, it is just a different County. Thanks for the help! |

Moving Registered NFA Firearms Intrastate Registrants are not required to obtain permission from ATF to move NFA firearms within their State of residence. However, if a registrant’s address changes after the NFA firearms are registered with ATF, please notify the NFA Branch in writing of the change so the NFRTR can reflect the registrant’s correct address. www.atf.gov/pub/nfab/index.htm |
