[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Australian Leader rifles!

I remember seeing a few 10 or so years ago at local shows. Were these guns worth anything as far as quality and dependability. I haven't seen one in recently and I wander if anyone here owns one. Just curious!

When I worked at Barrett, the inventor of the Leader, Charles St. George woked there for a bit. He had a bunch of stuff for a Leader. Probably enough to build 8-10 rifles. Thought about getting a kit from him and build one.
It was a pretty nifty rifle.

I thought so as well man. Something about them reminded me of the G36. I would like to shoot one because I believe they used AR mags.

Internally a cheaper version of the AR18

Change a few bits like the Charging handle.
