Hey all,
I know the kel-tec sub 2000 is available to take glock 17 or 19 mags but are these two types interchangeable? can I use a glock 19 mag in a glock 17 sub 2000 and vise versa? what modle # are the glock 33 rd mags and anyone know how much they go for or where to get them? sorry if this sounds like stupid questions but I have little to no hand gun knowledge.

The sub2k is a nice little carbine. If you are looking at the 9mm flavor, then do a google search on the glock 17 and 19. The 17 is a bit larger than the 19. Mag interchangability, probably, unless the 19 is a shorter mag due to the Glock 19 being smaller than the 17.
The Scherer 33 round magazine cost anywhere from $20-35.
Word of warning, if you live in NY state, you must have pre-ban mags or have mags with a max cap. of 10 rounds, Thanks NY State AWB!!!!

17 mags will fit in a 19 but not vis versa, so I would imagine that the SUB's mag well would allow the same.

I have the .40 and it's great.

I guess it would be better to find the one that takes glock 19 mags then. are there any Scherer 33 round magazine that are preban? are any of them dated or is there a way of telling the difference? every time I have to say preban I grow to hate ny more and more. dam rotten apple.

I have the G17 model Sub2000. I looked at the G19 model because I have dozens of G19 mags, but the grip is very, very short. I love my Sub2000. It rides on the passenger seat of my car in a briefcase with a few 33 round mags.

my new hi-caps for my glock 23 look exactly like "preban" ones, so I think you might just have to get someone from out of state to send you some <cough> preban <cough> new in wrap glock 18 30 rounders. scherers are OK but the real thing is definitely the way to go.

Someone who knows a little about GLOCK mags can easily tell the difference. Look at the cut outs at the top of the mags from the back.
