| Well, I'm buying my first AR, and the local shop has a good deal on a LEO marked Bushmaster Carbon-15 M4. I've searched through the boards, and seen that there seems to be feeding problems with this line. Can someone comment whether this effects only the "pistol" line, or also the rifles? |
Np Carbon-15s for me, thanks - I'll stick to the real thing... There's a reason why it's a "good deal" - I can't personally speak about the feeding issues you mentioned, but I can say this - there is NO comparison between a standard Bushmaster and it's Carbon bretheren... - georgestrings |
+1..for your first AR get the real deal. Supposedly Bushmaster FIXED the issues that plagued the original Carbon AR, but thats on you. Id either build or buy the real deal. |
| Thanks guys! Listened to the comments, and they mirrored what I had been thinking. Then I thought if I had doubts about the purchase, why go through with it? Decided to go with my second choice. Paid $1080 (includes tax) for a new Colt 6721. Have to hold off on a nice scope, but I'm much happier |
Well thats a big step up from the Carbon.  Youll be much happier with the colt.
