My wife wants me to find her a Steyr AUG but I realize those might be hard to come across.
Are there any (other than the Bushy) resources on these?

She has expensive tastes...  Hmmmm, my Bushy cost me $400 used, the mods from Kurt's should run $300 or less.  And I'll still be around $1,300 to $1,500 cheaper than an Aug.  Tell her she has to trade in the engagement ring on it!

Wait for the FN F2000... looks to be a superior design in several respects:

Also, as its not available yet, you can keep the $$$ in your pocket a few months longer.

Anybody have an stimated price on the FN?

Just be glad she didn't tell you she wants a FAMAS.  But seriously, AUGs are not plentiful, but they are not impossible to find a decent deal on, either.  Keep your eye on the Sturmgewehr.com board, and Subguns.com.  Eventually, either a reasonably priced AUG or USR will pop up.

I've got one on back order.  I believe they're gonna be in the ballpark of 1,300 to 1,500.

yes a version called the "FS2000" will be civy availible when it comes out, which depending on where the info comes from may be nov/dec of this year to first quarter of next year. They take AR15 magazines as a plus.

1749.99 from Impact Guns (only place I know of that has a price)
They say the MSRP is like 2200 which is marketting bs I'm sure.

The LEO version (full auto) is 60$ cheaper....pay more for a watered down version.

I'd go with the F2000.

AUG is kinda cool though, but pricy. And by buying FN you are supporting a company working to bring us new and cool guns.
