I have both and the harris bipod doesnt swivel but the Versa Pod does

I put the Versa Pod on my Rem PSS and the harris bipod on my M1A
I never shot with the versa pod but it seems too mobile for my PSS

Which is a better bipod?
What do you ue on you bolt gun and semi autos?

I like my harris very much, I haven't tried a versa pod.

The Harris swivel w/leg notches model is the way to go. A friend of mine bought a Versa Pod. Neither of us liked it. As Trauma observed, I thought the VP was too mobile.

I prefer a Harris on a bolt gun, too much crap hanging down with the Versa-Pod system.
