Can anyone point me in the direction of information for a mini 1919 machine gun that shoots the Hornady 17cal or M2's in .17 rimfire?

I saw a link of one here --> www.big-boys.com/articles/minimachine.html

Wouldn't this be a post 86 dealer sample? See your local SOT and have an agency letterhead or demo letter. You'll never see stuff like this again built or owned by civilians. Those days are long gone.

Pretty cool though.

Not as a semi!  Further, the Tippman variants were all made on or before 05/19/1986-- there are a bunch of .22lr and .22mag beltfeds out there that are fully transferrable.  (No .17hmr, though.  That caliber wasn't invented yet.)

Unfortunately, the new semi micro beltfeds have been discontinued due to the LM-7 project.

See www.lakesideguns.com

Thanks,

Mike

Get me some .17 tracers and I think I could give a field full of prairie dogs a run for their money.

I dont own a tippman 1919 but do own a FA full size 1919 and caliber changes consist of changing the barrel, sometimes changing the bolt. 308, 8mm and 30-06 so i see no reason why a tippman couldnt switch from 22 to 17. I would think it be very possible to have a transferable tippman 1919 in 17.
