Does anyone have any experience with an ATN 5x33 scope on an AR?  It suppose to have a built in rangefinder and bullet drop compensator.  They are about $200.

I have a 20" flattop Armalite that I need to scope.  Would this be a good choice?

i have had one on my armalite a2 for about 7 years. it is a good scope. tough as nails and the BDC is dead on.

That said it is big and HEAVY for a low power optic. Mine has had the hell beat out of it and it's only been zerod one time since i bought it.

I had a 5x33 on a VMatch for years that was great. I still have a 5x33LU for use on my M1A and haven't had any problems either.

They are/can be heavy so get the lowest rings possible of a flat top AR.
