Yes I did whittle the piss out of it, couldn't stand the thumbhole. Don't know if its compliant or not.

If you don't know then it isn't.

What you need is 5 US made parts to make the rifle compliant with 922r.

I would sugguest you go to Tapco and buy the following US made parts:

    Pistol grip

    Gas piston

Fire control group, ie, hammer, trigger & disconnector - this kit counts as 3 parts

Using these parts will allow you to keep the seperate pistol grip style these rifles originally had. You will in effect be making the rifle a US produced firearm. You could also add a folding stock for a sixth part, or in place of ONE other part. You can also change out magazine floor plates or followers for ONE part each.

I saw your other pics. Please don't risk losing all of them due to non-compliance to a stupid law.

But the choice is yours, of course.

Nice pics, BTW.

No problem. It's a stupid law but, it's the law. And it's so easy to conform to, too. I think Tapco's catalog even has a rundown on what's necessary to comply. And we sure don't want you to have any problems.

We wouldn't wish that on our worst enemies.

Well, may our WORST enemies.
