Ought I sell my POS Garand (Century build with Italian/Danish parts, and non-windage-adjustable rear sight [it should adjust but it's broken] and so-so wood) to buy a better gun or two? My wish list is any of a 1903a3, an AK of some sort, a Mosin-Nagant to replace the one that rusted on me, a .357 revolver, and some sort of 1911... or maybe a better Garand...

I would try to in a heartbeat if the thought of selling a gun didn't make me feel sad...

And if so, what price should I ask for? I (stupidly) paid $450 for it, a year ago, I was thinking selling it for $550 (a fairly low-end price for Garands around here, they usually fetch $600 or so) with a very noticible "NEGOTIABLE" sign, so if somebody is dumb enough to pay that much, so much the better, but if they talk me down to $500 or $450, they think they're suckering me and will happily pay.
