Does anyone have one of the tristar m10 series, Ive seen them and are quite excited. Id very much like to have a bolt rifle with reasonable accuracy that has mag interchangablity with my M14sa. This seems to be the only such beast, does anyone know of what theyre like. Im thinking of grabbing one in the future and scoping it with an IOR Valdada scope for a cheap reasonably accurratte, reasonably solid rifle. |

Robar used to (may still) make this this conversion on a number of different rifles. There is also a non-removable 30-rd mag available for most 98 series Mausers. It's fed through the open bolt via the stripper clip guide. Mausers possibly excepted, and given the expense of the conversion, I think I would just stay with stripper clip loading. What, no stripper clip guide? Then get yourself a good 98 Mauser and go to work on it. |
