Is there someplace I can look to see if my 10/22 is a preban? I bought it in 94, but can't remember exactly when. Bruce Wayne |
If it didn't have enough "evil" features before the '94 ban to be grandfathered as an "assault weapon", they CANNOT be added now even if the date of manufacture was 1974. Just because it was made before 9/94 doesn't auotmatically make it a pre-ban.  Now, on a more positive note, it looks like the AW ban is going to sunset in September, making this whole pre/post ban thing a moot point.
