I have had my Remington 597 LR for 7 months now and i have bought several clips and after like 200-300 rounds it fouls up and jams like every shot the elevator gets stuck in the middle i have tried to clean them but it doesnt seem to help it seems that if i put a stronger spring in there it would work better has anyone else had the same problem? or any suggestions in fixing the problem thanks.

^^what he said^^, but mines been OK, just their crappy shoulda been recalled plastic mags breaking till they introduced the metal ones. Luckily I'll say they replaced all broke'n ones I sent them,OR, I'd never buy another REMmy! F'em

I actually have never had a problem with any of my magazines. I own 4 of them, all plastic, and they still work even when I fail to clean them after several hundred rounds.

I had the same problem. I was getting a FTF or FTE at least twice per mag. I had about 3000 rounds through it. Cleaning and new mags didn't help.

I eventually fixed my problem by getting a 10/22.
