Does any one know of a company that makes night sights for the M1a/M14?.  Looked at Trijicon and Mep and found none

Haven't heard of one either.
For a poor man's night sights, paint the rear edge of the front blade some vivid, light  color not found in nature; neon green is a good one.  Hobby shops that sell model cars and such usually have a paint rack with a zillion colors.  I picked neon green as it is pretty light and not easily confused with anything else.

Paint a thin, sharp, horizontal line across and centered on the rear peep.

Don't forget to completely clean and de-grease any surface you wish to paint.

The above works surprisingly well in all but the darkest conditions.

The M1A is 1930's technology.  While is a darn good iron-sighted rifle, for all practical purposes, it's limited to a daytime role where those irons can be used correctly.  It is a LOUSY platform for optics and lights, as well as for accuracy.  Yes, an M1A can be made very accurate, but at *substantial* expense, and not without extensive maintenance.  This is why the the Marines have given up on converting M14s into a "Designated Marksman's Rifle."
