How can I (non MA resident) find out if a early model HS2000 is MA compliant? Thanks in advance |

I'm not an FFL, but have lived in MA my whole life and have had a CCW here for about 6 years. As far as I know, the HS2000 is not MA compliant. Unless you have one that was manufactured prior to October of 1998, and even then, that particular HS2000 would have had to have been already owned and registered in-state prior to October of 1998. It's a really crappy law. I'd love to be able to get an HS2000/SA-XD but can't even with all of the safety features in it. I'll just have to wait until I can get a job outside of MA and move out of here. |
