| Will have one of the current crop within the next couple weeks and am curious. How accurate are CETME's in general? They are battle rifles so I'm not expecting 0.25 MOA but would hope they are better than an SKS or AK. |

Shit, if you can get better than 4-6" @ 100 yards you're the rare exception. I've seen some do 6-8" groups using different ammo & shooters. You hit it right on the money when you said "SKS/AK accuracy". The CETME just shoots inaccurately a longer distance. >gg< But they are fun. |
| SA 58 by DS Arms... The only way to go in FN FAL world if you want accuracy.... 4 to 5" groups other wise with the $300 and $400 CETME and Century guns. Plus DS Arms is coming out with a all aluminum .223 FAL style rifle. It is lite and sweet from what I have heard. |

You fellas do realize that a CETME and a FAL are two VERY different rifles, right? CETME- roller delayed blowback, 18" barrel, 400 meter max. effective range.(point) Originally with stamped receiver. German/ Spanish design.. FAL - gas operated short-stroke recoil system, 21" barrel, 600 meter max. effective range(point target) milled (cast, billet or forging) receiver. Belgian/English/American designed. ( Don't believe that? Read the book !!. we contributed SAE threading, caliber, pistol grip angle, and suggested the handguard design... ;) ) Just FYI.
