do you know if there is a clip that fits both ar-15 and mini-14 ive tried ars in my mini it didnt fit also do you know if colt make mini-14 mags thanks alot

I don't think AR MAGAZINES will fit in a Mini-14; they lock in in different ways.

I've never heard of Colt making a MAGAZINE for a Mini-14, and there'd be no reason for them to.

Ramline used to make a magazine that fit the AR15, mini14, &AR180. They can sometimes be found on ebay.

While Ram-Line did make a plastic magazine that would fit both, the quality wasn’t great and nowadays (being hi-caps) they are greatly overpriced for what they are worth. If you look on e-bay, beware of Canadian Ram-Lines – depending on when they were made, they may not be legal here in the states.

You might want to check out Troy’s magazine FAQ in the Magazine Forum. For an AR, the best mags are USGI.

Technically, you want a magazine, not a clip. Some members here go to great lengths to make the distinction!
