im in the process of changing my ar15a2 sights to trijicon sights. im having problems removing the roll pin from the rear sight. any tips on getting that pin out so i can take the knob off? |
| EX11B - Did you have any problems getting the sight back together? I put an Ashley aperature on mt A1 and had a heck of a time getting the roll pin started. I really needed an extra set of hands to hold the upper, but no one was around to help. I ended up using a needle from the wife's sewing box, and put it thru the roll pin and the rear sight to act as a slave pin. Then I could wail on it with my plastic tipped hammer while using a piece of delrin in place of a punch. |
