I have been looking at these for a while and I`m thinking about buying one.But I have yet to fire the M17. Or at least see it in action. Who has one of these guns and whats the low down on them? Its the whole I want another 223 gun but something other than an AR15.

I don't own one but I have heard good things about them.

They just look wierd.  Like a length of black gutterpipe.

For a long time I thought that bullpup designs in general would pick up over the years, especially in the field of hunting.  When stomping through the brush, there's less to get snagged in the branches.  Barrel lengths can be longer to allow for more velocity.

I looked at one a couple of years ago.  For any long range shooting, a scope is a definite must.  The sight handle provides too short of a sight radius for shooting with open sights any much further than 50-75 yards.  Haven't heard of any reliability problems, and Troy's pic just proved they can be customized.
