i know colt has a 20 and 30 round pre-ban mag but why doesn't bushmaster?

They do....or at least they did. I own several of them, all with green followers.

Now, Bushmaster only sells LEO mags. At great prices too!!!!! If you can get them.

Bushmaster did make pre-bans. Or more specifically, like Colt they sub'd it out - I think to Labelle. I have a few - black teflon coated, green followers - almost too nice to shoot.
