[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bushmaster or DPMS

I am planing on buying a new AR-15 I have a colt and i am not impressed, though that is probobly dew to the fact that it is old and my dad doesnt know shit about takeing care of guns I dont think he cleand it more then twice. But anyways should I buy a DPMS or A bushmaster?

Well I seem to be out of the majority, but I recently bought a DPMS and am quite pleased. The price was good and it shoots very well. I own two Colts now and can't complain about my DPMS at all...

I've got a DPMS 16" upper and its functioned flawlessly. I think either gun is good, but if they are the same price, go for the Bushie.

Both guns should function flawlessly. They are both great manufactures and you probably be happy with either one. I would see which ones the cheapest then buy that one. I am still waiting to get my Panther Classic 16 and i'll let you know the range report when I get it.
