I have looked through list after list of Colt serial numbers and I can find no info on the GSXXX... serial numbers!? Can anyone give me any info on these? I know for a fact that this rifle was purchased brand new in 1991. I have the original receipt. I just can't find anything on GS serial numbered Colts. Here is a pic so mine.

I have no idea. I have a Colt Sporter Target and the serial number starts with "ST".
