Hey guys,
Just finished building up my 10/22.. It might not sound like much, but Its my first rifle, (ar is coming later this week) and I'd like to start learning about ballistics. What I would like to do, is zero my gun at 50 yards. Then I would like to calculate the drop at 100, 150 and so forth, adjust the scope using the MOA adjustmends and see if I can hit anything that far, on those nice sunny, windless days. Is this even possible? Does it depend alot on the scope? Should be a good test for the scope I have. I realize it may not be a tack driver, but I believe it will improve my shootings skills.

Thanks in advance... Looking forward to shooting my new toy.
