I have a Yugo M92 pistol with a protective cover over its 26mm threads that is tack welded in place.  After I remove the tack weld via dremel cut off wheel and sanding disk, will liquid blue do a good job at hiding the area that was affected?

It's a small tack weld and a little sanding will need to happen to smooth out the surface.  Or is there a better alternative to touch up small areas?  The metal is dark/black in color on this AK pistol.

if the finish is dark black i would use a touch up pen or like mentioned hit up advanced auto for some black ceramic paint and spray it into the cap and dab some on using a fine brush , using a blueing like oxpho may help to hide but wont match.

Actually ......oxpho-blue is just about a 100% match for the bluing on Yugo guns.....

When I cut mine off  I used Birchwood Casey Super Blue to touch it up and you'd never know anything was ever done to it.
