Has anyone ever used gas to clean gun parts?
I have used gas to clean automotive parts before.
Was just wondering

Did you use only gas?
Do you think using acetone after would clean it up?

Non chlorinated l, residue free brake cleaner. Works great, comes out of the straw pretty hard and stripes parts very clean. Drys like acetone basically. Get it at Walmart for 2 or 3 bucks a can.

Napa often has it for a lot less.

I've gotten it for 40 bucks per 5 gallon can.
