The home brew anodizing is not the hard coat anodizing we are used to on military type firearms. This is more like the stuff you use to pretty up something and keep it from corroding. I believe the home brew is Type II. Hard coat is type III.
I was thinking of trying this on a couple 80% lowers my son and I machined. Good father and son project. |
