| Some time soon I am going to coat my alpha rail. Any tips or tricks for spraying the inside of the tube? I was thinking taking a air brush and sticking the head in each hole and fogging the best I can? |

I wouldn't think that would be necessary. If you are using a quality HVLP gun, set up correctly, and you hit all your angles on the rail, the inside should get coated along with the rest of it. Alrighty then. So will a touch up work or should i go full size. I have both? |

I don't let any spray get to the inside of the rail. The contrasting black interior shadow will bring out the exterior color much better.
I roll up a sheet of paper as if you were putting a poster into a tube and it will then expand to completely fill the id. of the rail. |

I use the Iwata LPH-80 with a .8mm tip. http://www.iwata-medea.com/products/spray-guns/lph-80/ You can buy them directly from Cerakote or you might be able to find a cheap one on the bay. If you already have a similar mini gun, it should accomplish the task. |
