Duting the last ban, I bought a used pre-ban Colt 9mm lower. I had the mag block holes filled-in (no block was supplied) and the unit refinished by Kurt Kustom (who did a great job).
Unfortunately, some pitting on the side of the mag well remained.
I would like to refinixh the lower and eliminate the pitting - any suggestions what type of finish or other action to take?
Also, the lower is destined to be a SBR - is there a company that can do the refinish and the engraving?
Thanks

PS -  I've asked this question some time ago but lost the thread.

I would get it blasted, then engraved, then fill in with car filler (bondo) or jb weld then get it refinished by a no bake finish.

if the pits are not deep, I would just sand them out.
