I'm going to refinish / paint my rifle for the 9th time.

I have a pretty good track record of using krylon at free hand patterns on my rifles and decided I wanted to try a pattern.

I ordered a flecktar stencil from Bulldog Arms with the intent of doing one of the following patterns:

Oak Leaf B:

Russian partizan:

Now the colors I have on hand are:

Krylon (fusion camo):
- Tan
- OD
- Light Woodland Green
- Brown
- Black

What should I shoot for here?

Also, in what order should I paint?

Oak Leaf:

I was thinking for this pattern to do a base of brown or tan, then followed up by OD, then finally light woodland green.

I'm here to learn so school me.

Go lightest to darkest in that order. It will be a lot easier to make something darker over a lighter base color.
