OP you got me looking into this project like a mad man!!! lol...
I know this is slightly different, but I really like you buttstock with leather lanyard or strap idea to keep the hand secured to the wepon while/if attempting to fire both Shells together...which I will deffinately attempt eventually...not one armed of course...least not right away... question for you, I'm looking at possibly picking up a stoeger tactical side by side 12g, but I dont want to go hacking up the stock wood...atleast if I have an option. Of all the coach guns I've seen...the stock and grip set appears to be somewhat universal, or looks awfully similar from all different manufactureres....is this true? do you know of any companies that sell cheap wood stock sets for these? thanks man, loving this project!!! |

Thanks, It's almost done. Friday should have the forend wood and I'll assemble. Test fire then paint the woods Not really sure if they are all the same... I have a Stoger Coach in 20 Gauge that I love You can order stripped replacement stocks and keep the original as is. Cut down the replacement as you see fit. YMMV |
