| I know this is for Refinishing topics but I still think the knowledge base here can help me out. I was recently offered a heck of a price on a Chromoly barrel that has not yet been Parkerized. Can I use a product like DuraCoat or GunKote on it or does it need to be Parked first? |

A "good" park job makes an excellent base to apply DuraCoat or GunCoat on top of. They can be applied without it. Just do some good prep work and it will be a long lasting good looking finish.
