My first attempt at a camo painted gun. Was apprehensive at first, but hey its an AK. Covered it in Brownells Alumahyde II a month ago. Decided to mix up some Krylon Camo colors and sponge it. We'll see how it holds up. Any suggestions to make it better?

Can't tell if that is a flat or a glossy black.  But looks good post some pics of it out in the wilderness.

You nailed it and it looks great.  If you want to matte it up a little, there is a clear matte spray coat you can get.  Unfortunely, it is matte and not a true flat.  It will also darken the colors slightly.  But it does provide an extra level or protection to the paint.

Dont touch it. I think youll end up regretting it if you do. Thats how good of a job youve done. At first glance i woulve thought thats dipped if i hadnt read the description.
