Well this isn't as much FDE as it is tan.
I have an A1 stock and a Mapgul MOE grip that I need to paint. I am going to use a Gear Sector stop and latter rails. So, a few questions. I realize this is mostly trivial, but I would like my tans to match. The Gear Sector stop... Its FDE is equivalent to what, Magpul's? Vltor's? And I've seen ladder rails in various shades of tan. FDE, Coyote Brown, depends on the brand. Assuming I can get ladders to match the Gear Sector stop, what is my best option for painting the stock and MOE grip? Whose tan matches up the closest? Failing everything else, has anyone used Duracoat's (or anyone else's) flexible paint meant for rubber, ie, anyone ever painted ladder rails and then installed them without the paint flaking off?
