so, I'm finally ready to get my HBAR reprofiled to Govt profile.
how should I refinish it?

would GunKote serve me well?
can I put the GK just on the exposed steel (under the handguards) or do I have to completely remove all the parkerizing and paint all the barrel?

thankyou,
should I remove the remaining parkerizing or can I paint over it?
also, what color would be close to the factory parkerizing? I've found the "2400 series - milspec grey/OD green" on their website that seems the right one..
