Has anyone used Duracoat on a barrel? Does it hold up at all to the heat

Saw it done once to an AR barrel.  The owner said he has never had any problems.  His AR was completely covered from buttstock to muzzle with duracoat.  On the barrel it was covered from the muzzle to the front sight post.

I own a duracoated Glock and have never had issues with cleaning, scratches, etc.  The stuff is solid.

DuraCoat will take normal shooting heat, even on semi autos. LCW has a product called DuraHeat designed for MG barrels and cans. I once did a set of Harley pipes with the stuff and didn't have any problems.
The only bad thing is the DuraHeat colors are limited.

I am considering coating one of my current builds with Duracoat Magpul FDE. I would love to see some pics of how your weapon turned out, and any info on how the process went. Thanks in advance.
