Well, all is not lost.
It's just a decal. My plan was to see how much I liked the look (I'm not really into the Boihazard/Punisher/Molon Labe/whatever stuff and spit upon senseless ornamentation, in general). But, I thought the bolt face looked cool. This was just a trial. Now, I'll order another decal and hit the magwell with flat black. Then attach the decal (correctly oriented, I hope) and recoat in OD. I think that'll look pretty good and will hopefully appease the AR Gods. But still... that was a stupid mistake. Thought I'd share. :D |
