Folks, I am doing a build and decided that I want an all natural aluminum look. Is there a way to remove black anodizing from a hand guard tube?  I could just paint it but would like to know if there is another option.  Thankyou  My lower and upper are bead blasted with no finish ever having been applied.

Use a phosphoric acid bath at about 20% phosphoric
acid to 80% water (1 gal. of acid to 4 gal. of water
ratio) heat liquid to 190 degrees - submerge part
depending on size for 1 to 3 minutes.

You can also use Easy Off oven cleaner....It must be the yellow can though...........I use it on all anodized pieces to strip them before power coating.......just make sure you keep the piece covered, and use cold water to rinse it off...........WEAR  GLOVES..............don't breath the fumes as in any chemical use......
